MEN’S BIBLE STUDIES
During the Spring and Fall
The Wednesday morning group tends to be older, retired men who don’t have to punch the clock anymore. They gather together for fellowship, encouragement, and a time to grow deeper in God’s Word. It’s a great opportunity for one to slow down, connect with others, and strengthen the faith alongside brothers in Christ.
WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDIES
We have two Bible study options for our ladies:
Precepts Bible Study – An in-depth study of God’s Word in an inductive style. Discussion and DVD teaching as well as small groups—to deepen our walk with God. Our small groups broaden relationships, support, and prayer. Childcare available infant-Kindergarten.
Tuesday mornings 9-11 am or Wednesday evenings 7-8:30 pm.
Elective Study – For those who prefer a non-inductive study with books of the Bible and topical studies. Many include DVD teaching, and all have small groups for discussion, prayer, and relationship building. Childcare available infant-Kindergarten. Tuesday mornings ONLY 9-11 am.

ROMEO’s
Retired Old Men Eating Out
These men want to pray, and they genuinely love the opportunity to pray together. There is time to share prayer requests and praises, followed by a meaningful time of open prayer where everyone is encouraged to lift up one another, our families, our church, and the needs around us.
Afterward, the group enjoys fellowship over a late brunch at Archibald’s Restaurant. It’s a relaxed time to enjoy good food, good conversation, and the blessing of building friendships with other men.
WOMEN OF HOPE
Discipleship for women who are single:
Their group exists to connect, support, and disciple women who are single for a variety of reasons. They may be widowed, divorced, or have never been married, but whatever their story, they have a place to belong and walk alongside other women who understand their journey.
Through fellowship, encouragement, prayer, and the study of God’s Word, the group seeks to build meaningful relationships and help each woman grow deeper in her faith.

Compassion and Visitation
Visits to those who need encouragement:
The men and women in this ministry are ready and willing to come alongside those who may need encouragement, companionship, and a caring presence. They visit folks in the hospital, senior living facilities, group homes, and those who may be shut in at home for a short season or for a longer period of time.
These visits are an opportunity to remind others that they are not forgotten or alone. Through conversation, prayer, encouragement, and simply spending time together, the ministry seeks to show Christ’s love and care to those who may be going through a difficult or lonely season.
If you’re interested in participating in this ministry or could benefit as a recipient, please contact Bridget Blackfelner at (949) 973-8045.
Men’s Upkeepers
Men ready to help:
Men of all ages, our CVCC men from time to time have the opportunity to help out single moms and widows and others who occasionally need help around the house (moving furniture, painting, yard work, general maintenance, etc.) This is a ministry that is ready and willing to help.

Cross generational
Seniors connect with younger generations of all ages:
God has given seniors a wealth of wisdom, experience, faith, and stories that can encourage and strengthen those who are younger. This ministry creates opportunities for meaningful relationships between generations—whether through shared activities, fellowship, serving together, or simply spending time getting to know one another.
We believe every generation has something valuable to give and receive. Seniors have much to offer within their families and to the younger generations of our church, and younger people can bring encouragement, energy, and friendship in return. Together, we can learn from one another, build lasting relationships, and pass the faith from one generation to the next.
FOREVER YOUNG
A fellowship opportunity:
for single seniors (50+) to build genuine friendships, share life and mutual concerns, and enjoy meaningful time together. Forever Young is a safe and welcoming place—not a dating venue, but a community where you can relax, laugh, enjoy good food, play games, and connect with others who are walking a similar season of life.
