WHAT TO EXPECT
At Abound: Young Adults we focus on 3 main things: Fellowship, Bible Study, and Discipleship
We fellowship together by taking part in weekly intentional community gatherings where we share a home cooked meal together, catch up on life, and develop Christ centered relationships together.
We engage in Bible Study by doing verse by verse studies through various books of the bible. Each week a different member of the teaching team will lead the group through the nights passage in a large group discussion where we seek to understand what the text is communicating. Then we break up into smaller groups where we dive into how we apply these biblical passages to our lives as young adults in the 21st century.
We practice discipleship through building up and challenging one another in our walk with God and by having mentor couples in attendance each week who also pour into the lives of the community.
All of these goals are done with the intention of encouraging us as young adults to boldly live out our Christian faith and to deepen our relationship with Christ!

Large GROUP DISCUSSION:
1. Why does Jesus end this example of prayer with another discussion of forgiveness?
2. If you come to prayer with bitterness/unforgiveness toward someone else, how can you comprehend the grace that has been bestowed upon you?
How can you hold bitterness against someone who has wronged you when you have wronged God in a far greater way?
3. Can you really recognize who God is if you don’t recognize the grace given to you? Do you recognize the grace given to you if you refuse to forgive another?
4. Can you really make a request of God if you will not first forgive, as he forgave you?
Can you really ask God to forgive your sins if you will not forgive another?
Can you really expect to be delivered from temptation if you will not obey God by forgiving others, which means you are still willfully sinning?
Small group Discussion:
1. When we pray, how do we usually pray? What do we usually pray for?
2. Think of how you typically pray/your personal prayer?
What parts of the Lord’s prayer do you usually spend most of your
time doing?
3. Is there someone you need to forgive, or anything else impeding your prayers? To what extent do need to change the way you pray?
BEHOLD HIM
[Verse 1]
He who was before there was light
Walked across the pages of time
He who made every living thing
Behold Him
He who heard humanity's cry
Left His throne to wake as a child
He became like the least of us
Behold Him
[Chorus 1]
Jesus, Son of God, Messiah
The Lamb, the roaring Lion
Oh, be still and behold Him
[Verse 2]
He who dined with sinners and saints
Healed the blind, the lost and the lame
Even now He is in our midst
Behold Him
He who chose a criminal's end
Paid with blood to settle our debt
Buried death as He rose to life
Behold Him
[Chorus 2]
Jesus, Son of God, Messiah
The Lamb, the roaring Lion
Oh, be still and behold Him
Jesus, Alpha and Omega
Our God, the risen Savior
Oh, be still and behold Him
[Bridge]
Holy, holy, holy
Is the Lord God Almighty
Worthy, worthy, worthy
To receive all praise
Holy, holy, holy
Is the Lord God Almighty
Worthy, worthy, worthy
To receive all praise
Holy, holy, holy
Is the Lord God Almighty
Worthy, worthy, worthy
To receive all praise
Holy, holy, holy
Is the Lord God Almighty
Worthy, worthy, worthy
To receive all praise
[Chorus 2]
Jesus, Son of God, Messiah
The Lamb, the roaring Lion
Oh, be still and behold Him
Jesus, Alpha and Omega
Our God, the risen Savior
Oh, be still and behold Him
HOW GREAT THOU ART
[Verse 1]
O Lord my God, when I in awesome wonder
Consider all, the worlds Thy Hands have made
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder
Thy power throughout, the universe displayed
[Chorus]
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee
How Great Thou art, How Great Thou art
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee
How Great Thou art, How Great Thou art!
[Verse 2]
And when I think, that God, His Son not sparing
Sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in
That on the Cross, my burden gladly bearing
He bled and died to take away my sin
[Chorus]
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee
How Great Thou art, How Great Thou art
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee
How Great Thou art, How Great Thou art!
[Verse 3]
When Christ shall come, with shouts of acclamation
And take me home, what joy shall fill my heart
Then I shall bow, in humble adoration
And then proclaim, "My God, how Great Thou art!"
[Chorus]
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee
How Great Thou art, How Great Thou art
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee
How Great Thou art, How Great Thou art!
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee
How Great Thou art, How Great Thou art
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee
How Great Thou art, How Great Thou art!
