WHAT WE BELIEVE…

“Each one must do just as he has proposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed...”

2 Corinthians 9:7-8

We believe that God celebrates the generosity of his people. We believe that God has not only generously blessed our church, but that God has generously blessed each and every one of His people in some way, in order that we might cheerfully share those blessings with others.

Jesus also taught that when we prioritize giving in our lives, it also begins to shape our hearts and our focus more and more on His purposes in our lives and in our world. Matthew 6:21

At CVCC, we exist to glorify God by being and making disciples of Christ, and we are committed to using every dollar given for that very purpose. Whatever amount you give and in whatever form you give it, please know that we are not only thankful for your cheerful gift, but we are committed to using it for the support of the church, for the needs of others, and for the evangelization of the world for God’s glory.
