COMMUNITY Young Adults "Faith & Community"

  • 14601 Peyton Drive Chino Hills CA 91709 (map)

An evening for young adults to engage in conversation about faith and the everyday life.

Join us as we look at Faith and COMMUNITY. How do we live missionally in the everyday? How do we develop responsive eyes and ears to the needs of those in our neighborhood? Where might God be calling us to be the hands and feet of Jesus within our local context?

Our guest speaker for this event is Jason Phillips.

Jason pastors at Sojourners Church in Fullerton, CA where he focuses on the formation of disciples and integrates the development of spiritual formation through a missional lens. He serves on staff at SOULeader, as senior chaplain for the Fullerton Police Department, as well as Vice-Chair for the Fullerton Collaborative, which seeks to build and support a healthy and whole community for all of Fullerton residents. He is also the founder and leader for Fullerton ACT which is a collaborative of churches that partner with the city and non-profits to make a collective impact in homelessness, human-trafficking, next-gen youth empowerment, immigration, and education. He additionally serves by coaching and connecting pastors and churches to God’s mission in the city and helps them connect that mission to discipleship and intimacy with God.

Cost to attend is FREE.
