Our Adorn Women’s Ministries seeks to adorn women with the gospel of Christ by cultivating community through discipleship, that they may glorify God in every season of life.
Women’s Bible Studies (august - May):
Precepts Bible Study - An in-depth study of God’s Word in an inductive style. Discussion and DVD teaching as well as small groups to deepen our walk with God. Our small groups broaden relationships, support, and prayer. Childcare available infant-Kindergarten.
Tuesday mornings 9-11 am or Wednesday evenings 7-8:30 pm.Elective Study - For those who prefer a non-inductive study with books of the Bible and topical studies. Many have DVD teaching. All have small groups for discussion, prayer, and relationship building. Childcare available infant-Kindergarten.
Tuesday mornings ONLY 9-11 am.
Women’s Ministry Opportunities:
Discipleship & Mentoring - Discipleship happens in many ways, through one on one relationships and small groups. We are currently building a new program to enrich the lives of women, cultivating a way to deepen our walk with God and other Christ followers. Women of all ages benefit from mentoring and discipleship - so it’s never too early or to late in life! Based on Titus 2, we seek to grow women in the body of Christ through teaching and accountability, equipping them to use their God given gifts to serve their families and the body of Christ.
One in Christ (Widows Group) - One in Christ exists to connect, support, and disciple women to be servant leaders in a new season of life. The group is built on supporting each other through the difficulties of new widowhood and over the long haul. Some of the ladies are more seasoned in life and some are much younger, so no matter how long you have been in this position, we are here to walk with you. We meet on the third Thursday of the month at 10 am in Room 4.
