Ministry to Educators
The Ministry to Educators is a group of Kindergarten through 12th grade educators who share a love for Jesus. Through fellowship, prayer, and speakers, we seek to encourage and equip one another to bring the love and light of Jesus onto our campuses and into our classrooms. We exist to support our teachers through:An annual teacher commissioning each August.Quarterly events hosted by CVCC with guest speakers to train and equip our educators on topics relating to sharing their faith on campus and in the classroom.Sharing of information regarding other local conferences and trainings for Christian educators.For more information about the Ministry to Educators, or if you would like to be included on our mailing list, please contact Tom Vogt at vogtus@verizon.net.
Prayer Team
We have a team of people who regularly pray for our church. There are many different ways to serve. We have one group that prays for people at the end of each service down in front. We have others who meet regularly to pray for the needs of our people. If you would like to learn more about our prayer team, please contact Jeff Carter at jcarter@cvcchurch.org.
Unite
Unite is a unique opportunity to come together every few months to worship together and fellowship with a focus on traditional hymns and songs. There is a great legacy of worship songs in church history that we gather together to enjoy and through which we worship our God. love, pray, sew
Love, Pray, Sew creates special quilts for people in critical need of prayer. As each knot is tied, a prayer is offered for that specific person’s need, so each quilt becomes a blessing of encouragement and of prayer for the recipient.
Before submitting a request for quilt, please ask the recipient if he/she is willing to accept a prayer quilt and what specific prayers are requested.
Once you click on “Request a Quilt” below, you will be asked a series of questions and will have the opportunity to list specific prayer requests.
HEALING HEARTS FOR WOMEN
A Christ-centered group for women dealing with the trauma of sexual addiction in their marriage or relationship. Consider attending if your partner has engaged in or is attempting to overcome a form of extra-marital sexual behavior—pornography, affairs, same-sex, internet misuse, seeking out prostitutes, etc. Small group environment.
Offered: Mondays 7:00-9:00pm (except for the first Monday of each month)
