Men’s ministries

Men’s Ministry exists to help our men partner together to fulfill God’s calling to be and make disciples of Christ.

Weekly Bible Studies - During the spring and fall we offer two weekly Bible study options for our men. Wednesday mornings at 9am a group of guys meet in the Worship Center to study God’s Word. Wednesday evenings at 7pm Gary Miller leads our men through a time of Bible study and fellowship. Come get connected to other men and dive into God’s Word together!

Band of Brothers - Please join us on Saturday mornings for “Band of Brothers”. This Bible study is for guys who want to partner together through prayer and support to live out God’s calling on their lives. We recognize that we are not designed to go through the challenges of life on our own. It takes courage to reach out to others for love, acceptance, and support. We are stronger when we are together! Our men meet each Saturday at 7:30am in Room 2 for coffee, donuts, and fellowship.
Prison Ministry - We have connections with a couple of local prison and prison ministries. We would love to have you join us in sharing God’s love with some guys who are often really open to hearing about the Gospel.
Mentoring - We cannot do life alone. We need to walk together, learning from and pouring into each other. One of the best ways to grow in our faith is to connect with another guy in a Paul / Timothy kind of relationship.
Men on a Mission - Our CVCC men from time to time have the opportunity to help out single moms and widows and others who occasionally need help around the house (moving furniture, painting, yard work, general maintenance, etc.) We are organizing this into a ministry that is ready and willing to help.

Men’s Breakfast - Every quarter our guys get together to eat, fellowship, and hear a great message inspiring them to draw closer to God and be the kind of leaders God wants them to be.
Men’s BBQ Cook-Off - Once a year we get together to find out who is the king of the grill for the next year. The competition is fierce and the food is amazing. Join us for a challenging message and get to know the guys in your church.
Men’s Golf - Four times a year our men square off to compete for bragging rightsand some pretty great prizes too! Come join us on the links for a great time of fellowship.
Fantasy Football - Who is the best arm-chair quarterback out there? Put together your own team and show off your football expertise. Bragging rights and great prizes are on the line.
Men’s Bike Ride - Each month we meet at Yorba regional park in Anaheim. We have two groups of riders: Novice/Intermediate and Advanced. The Advanced group typically ride down to PCH and back (about 44 miles), while the novice group ride to Angel stadium and back (about 15 miles).
